Dr David McRae

Dr David McRae (Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) Bachelor of Chiropractic Science) graduated at RMIT 1997, and quickly sought about finding ways to improve the healthcare standards for practitioners by considering all facets concerned with healthcare, that is, physical, chemical and emotional stress on the body.

He has a keen interest in fitness and nutrition, and family healthcare. He also enjoys caring for animals. Dr. McRae enjoys swimming, cycling and wishes that everyone can enjoy the benefits of optimum health.


Dr Antoinette Kopke

Dr Antoinette Kopke (Bachelor of Applied Science (Clinical Science) Bachelor of Chiropractic Science) graduated from RMIT in 1996. She has been in practice around the inner eastern suburbs shortly after graduation. She is certified in Applied Kinesiology and utilises many techniques (both manual and low force) to deliver a personal approach to healthcare.

Dr. Kopke has a special interest in sporting injuries, women's health and helping people of all ages to be the best they can be, through correct body alignment, nutrition and exercise.

Dr Krissy Dowlin

Dr Krissy Dowlin, Chiropractor & Naturopath. Certified Applied Kinesiology

Dr Krissy graduated with distinction after 5 years of study at RMIT with a Bachelor of Health Science. Previous to studying Chiropractic, Dr Krissy completed her 4 year Naturopathy degree with Bachelor of Health Science at Endeavour College or Natural Health.

Dr Krissy grew up in country Victoria and feels very blessed to have had holistic chiropractic care since the age of 6. Initially this inspired Krissy to study Naturopathy and learn all about how herbal, nutritional and food as medicine can help to restore balance and create optimal health. Krissy’s transformational experience with chiropractic as a child along with her passion to further explore the human body and health lead her down the path to studying chiropractic with aspirations of being able to care for her patients as holistically as possible.

Along with utilising SOT, Krissy is certified Applied Kinesiology practitioner. Applied Kinesiology involves functional muscle testing as well as using the principles of nutritional and bio-mechanics to better enhance the outcomes of patients.

Krissy has a strong interest in family health and paediatric care and is passionate about helping people of all ages and walks of life to achieve their full health expression. Combining her Chiropractic & Naturopathic skills, Krissy focuses on digestive health, hormonal balance and emotional wellbeing as key pillars of optimal health.

When she is not in clinic, Krissy loves staying active by attending yoga classes as well as hanging out with her partner & beautiful Labrador.

Peter Eves

Peter Eves first became involved in Massage Therapy in 1986 when completed training in Oriental Massage at the Melbourne School of Tactile Therapies. He then moved on to study Deep Tissue massage and became an ATMS registered remedial Massage Therapist 1996.  His other studies have incorporated Neuro Structural Technique (a form of Bowen Therapy) and more recently MyoFascial Dry Needling. He has also completed numerous courses at the College of Natural Medicine (currently known as Endeavour College) in Nutrition and Herbal medicine. Peter has worked at numerous clinics and has become the resident remedial masseur at Lifestyle Healthcare.He has had a very strong interest in natural therapies for the past 20 years and his interests include mindfulness meditation, brain neuroplasticity, body-mind-emotion connection, paleo/Primal lifestyle and Tai Chi. In particular his interest and participation in Paleo lifestyle/diet has lead to completion of a Certificate IV in Nutritional Food Coaching in late 2013.

Peter has had a long involvement with Lifestyle Healthcare spanning some 16 years plus and has worked with  numerous health conditions from muscle and joint pain, low back, hip and shoulder issues, to managing stress and much more. He combines a number of techniques in treating clients involving deep tissue massage, trigger point work, myofascial dry needling, vacuum cupping therapy and soft tissue release. Each client's treatment is tailored to their specific requirements whether that be a gentle relaxing or deep tissue massage.

Peters other interests include Buddhism, science fiction, good coffee, ancestral movement exercise, reading books.

Chris Garbett

As a highly regarded soft tissue therapist, Chris brings a wealth of expertise to our practice.

She comes to us with 13 years experience working in elite sport, including international and Olympic swimmers and private practice, giving her an enormous knowledge base in injury prevention, treatment, and management. Her rehabilitation and management of musculoskeletal disorders is well renowned.

She can offer remedial support as part of post-operative or injury recovery, pregnancy, to assist you to get the most out of your training, to offer some much needed relaxation from the day-to-day stresses of life or to simply maintain a high level of healthcare for you and your family.

Thérèse Poon

Thérèse Poon is an Australian born, Australian trained acupuncturist (Victoria University, 2005) who has also studied in China and completed a full Medical Qigong apprenticeship with the renowned Dr Bisong Guo, author of Listen to Your Body - The Wisdom of the Dao.

In addition to a general practice of acupuncture, her interests include Medical Qigong, (Daoist Yoga), Lifestyle & Well-being coaching and the practice of Chinese Tea ceremony. Therese has taught a variety of retreats and workshops and hosts an annual retreat at the world renowned Findhorn Foundation in Scotland, where she lived and worked for nearly 12 years.
